Burlesque beauty DITA VON TEESE quit sex for a year following her divorce from MARILYN MANSON - in order to fully recover from her failed marriage.The raven-haired siren split from the shock rocker in 2006 after just two years together, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the break-up.
Manson's close relationship with young actress Evan Rachel Wood, who he began dating openly in 2007, was alleged to have played a part in the marriage break-down - and Von Teese admits she dealt with her problems by practising sexual abstinence.
She says, "After the divorce I was going through complete heartbreak. It changes you, I spent the first year not having sex at all, which was strange as I still continued to convey sex in my work.
"After a split a lot of men put on a band-aid by getting another woman. I wanted to deal with the break-up and learn from it and I've done that now. I wanted to come through it and be able to love again as if my heart had never been broken."
And the exotic icon insists she has regained her appetite for sex - but won't be falling for a carbon copy of her former husband.
She adds, "The only thing is, at the moment I'm definitely not looking at musicians. I'm attracted to normal, sweet-looking guys in sweaters. I'm finished with the leather trousers and eyeliner types. You can have a roller-coaster ride with a guy in a sweater."
