VON BULOW DEAD

MARTHA 'SUNNY' VON BULOW, the heiress GLENN CLOSE portrayed in REVERSAL OF FORTUNE, has died after spending almost 28 years in a coma. She was 76.
Von Bulow was found unconscious on the floor of her bathroom in her mansion in Newport, Rhode Island, on 21 December, 1980.
Her second husband, Claus von Bulow, was convicted and later acquitted of trying to kill his wife with injections of insulin.
