Upon graduating college at the top of his class he decided to forego many lucrative job offers to instead hit the streets of Chicago helping his fellow Americans change th eir communities for the good so he's proven where his heart is and he's proven himself as a leader. He is not and never has been a Muslim and has, in fact, been a member of a Christian church for many years. He was sworn in on a Bible. Though being a mainstream Muslim, like being a mainstream Christian, has nothing to do with terrorism. There are ext remists of all genres. Barack has the support of the 3 major veterans groups; Paralyzed Veterans of America, Disabled American Veterans and Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America due to his voting record. You can check out the proof at iava.org at the In The News section under IAVA's Executive Director on Countdown. It shows IAVA gives Obama an 80% approval rating compared to McCain's 20%. It also shows the DAV gives Obama a B+ where McCain received a D. We're now approaching a deficit of nearly half a trillion dollars. Maybe that doesn't mean much to Mr. Voight with all his money but to the average American it means quite a lot! We can't afford 4 more years of Republican economics! And McCain has alread y stated more than once that he doesn't know a lot about economics. So, duh! Are you going to believe Veterans and trust your logic instead of caving to fear tactics? Or are you going to listen to this guy who has no facts to back up anything he's spewing and gets his ideas from God knows where? Anybody who want 4 more years of being punk'd by the Republicans raise your hand.

In other words, he could've made himself a wealthy man in an office job but choose instead to make things better for his fellow Americans. Furthermore, he's a Christian and has NEVER been a Muslim, though moderate Muslims are NOT terrorists any more than ordinary Christians are Right Wing blowhards. There are extremists in every genre. And, yes, Barack was sworn in on a Bible. Check out any rumors on Snopes before being so gullible as to still believe anything that comes down the pike. Also veterans groups PVA, IAVA and DAV all support Obama due to his voting records. The DAV (Disabled American Veterans) gives McCain a D rating and Obama a B+. IAVA gives McCain a 20% approval rating while giving Barack 80%. So Barack Obama is the candidate who REALLY supports the troops!
