VOICE OF HARRY POTTER SALUTED BY BROADWAY STARS
CARRY ON films stalwart and the voice of the HARRY POTTER audio book series, JIM DALE, is to be saluted as part of a Friars Club Musical Tribute on Monday (30OCT06). Among those toasting and poking fun at Dale will be Broadway favourites BEBE NEUWIRTH and TOVAH FELDSHUH. The British actor has become a Broadway hero, claiming Tony Award nominations for roles in THE THREEPENNY OPERA and CANDIDE. He won the Tony in 1980 for his starring role in BARNUM.
