VIOLENCE BREAKS OUT AT IRON MAIDEN CONCERT
An Iron Maiden concert in Colombia has ended in violence between fans and local police.
Local sources claim police in Bogata clashed with heavy metal fans after they climbed a fence to gain access to a restricted area at the show.
More rioting then erupted outside the venue as people without tickets for the show clashed with each other and the authorities.
The Latin American Herald Tribune reports a total of 111 people were arrested following the rioting.
A police statement claimed: "Thirty-seven men and three women remain under arrest" and those involved will have to "assume the costs of the stoplights and traffic signs that they damaged without just cause".
Amid the violence a policeman suffered injuries to the face and is reported to be recovering in hospital.
Around 25,000 people are thought to have attended the concert in Simon Bolivar Park.
