VILLAGE PEOPLE 'COP' PLANS FIRST GIG IN 25 YEARS

THE VILLAGE PEOPLE star VICTOR WILLIS has scheduled his first live performance in a quarter of a century. The Y.M.C.A. singer, who dressed as a police officer in the disco group, will perform at the House Of Blues in Las Vegas on 31 August (07). Willis, who left the group in 1980, is hoping to use the show to preview a 2008 world tour.
