VICTORIA SELLERS FREED WITHOUT CHARGE

Late comedian PETER SELLERS' daughter VICTORIA has mysteriously escaped being deported from America to the UK, despite being arrested on immigration violations last month (OCT06). The actress, 41, was held in an Orange County, California, detention centre following her arrest at a Hollywood apartment, but half-sister SARAH insists she was released from custody last week (16NOV06) and is a free woman again. She says, "I've not spoken to Victoria but I know she was released on Thursday. "I'm sure she'd like to travel to and fro but she's in America at the moment - she has not been deported to Britain." Victoria, daughter of former BOND girl BRITT EKLAND, was a permanent resident in the United States until April 2002, when an immigration judge ordered her deportation due to a previous criminal conviction. In the 1990s, Victoria was sentenced to 13 days in jail for receiving stolen jewellery and spent another 120 days behind bars for drug-related charges.
