VETERAN ROCKERS QUO OUTDO TAKE THAT

Rockers STATUS QUO have been named the hardest working band in the U.K. - after notching up the most arena concerts in 2008.
The Rockin' All Over The World hitmakers performed for more than 300,000 fans during 35 performances across the U.K.
Boyband Take That were close behind after playing 34 major gigs as part of their successful comeback.
The Kaiser Chiefs, girlband Sugababes, and the temporarily reformed Spice Girls completed the top five hardest working bands, according to the Performing Right Society (PRS).
Popular 1960s group Gerry And The Pacemakers were also hard at work during 2008 - they performed the most shows at smaller concert venues, followed by David Essex and Chas + Dave.
