VERONICAS STAR CALLS OFF WEDDING

THE VERONICAS star LISA ORIGLIASSO has called off her engagement to former AUSTRALIAN IDOL contestant DEAN GEYER.
The couple announced its plans to marry in April (08) after a year of dating, but have now decided to part ways, citing the stresses of a long-distance relationship.
Origliasso is based in Los Angeles while Geyer, now a castmember on soap opera Neighbours, resides in Melbourne, Australia.
A joint statement released by the pair reads: "Our careers demand we be in different parts of the world now and in the future, and the pressures associated with this have forced us to make this very difficult decision.
"We remain committed and caring friends, with love, admiration and support for one another. We would appreciate respect for our privacy at this time."
