VEDDER SURPRISES FILM FANS WITH GIG
PEARL JAM frontman EDDIE VEDDER stunned movie fans at two INTO THE WILD screenings in Seattle, Washington on Monday and Tuesday night (24+25Mar08) when he showed up to perform for them. The rocker, who penned and recorded the soundtrack for Sean Penn's acclaimed film, performed full sets in advance of the launch of his first solo tour next week (02Apr08). The Kenyon Hall dates were attended by just 150 lucky fans each night. As well as playing songs from the film and Pearl Jam favourites, Vedder also covered Cat Stevens' If You Want To Sing Out, Sing Out, Tom Petty's I Won't Back Down and Picture In A Frame by Tom Waits.
