VAUGHN: 'HELLRAISER LABEL WAS UNJUSTIFIED'

Actor VINCE VAUGHN has hit out at his reputation as a former hellraiser, insisting he was never the badboy the media branded him. Vaughn, who is currently dating JENNIFER ANISTON, was banned from Wilmington, North Carolina bars, ordered to undergo alcohol assessment, and fined $250 (GBP139) after a 2001 brawl in which fellow actor STEVE BUSCEMI was stabbed several times. After the incident, the WEDDING CRASHERS star insists his social life was wildly exaggerated by the press when, in reality, his situation was perfectly normal. He says, "I never really saw myself as a hell-raiser. I was just someone who liked to go out, have a drink and enjoy myself. I was never into creating drama or getting into trouble."
