'High School Musical' star Vanessa Hudgens claims fraudsters are spreading bizarre rumours about her on a fake Twitter page.

Vanessa Hudgens is furious someone is impersonating her on a social networking site.

The 'High School Musical' star can't believe people are using a fake Twitter account to spread bizarre rumours about her relationship with boyfriend Zac Efron.

The 19-year-old actress said: "I don't have a Twitter page. Somebody is pretending to be me on Twitter, and it makes me really mad. Apparently somebody who was pretending to be me was saying things like 'Zac got me a bowling alley.'

"And I was like 'What?' I just don't know why, but people are saying crazy things on there."

Vanessa is not the only star to have online problems.

Lindsay Lohan has been the victim of hackers several times in the past few years.

Last month, she was outraged when people broke into her Twitter page to write cryptic comments suggesting Justin Timberlake was cheating on his girlfriend Jessica Biel.

Britney Spears' Twitter page was also hacked, with someone recently using her account to say she had died.
