Denise van Outen and Lee Mead have tied the knot in a private marriage ceremony in the Seychelles, according to reports.

The wedding of the two stars of West End musicals took place in an intimate setting in the tropical islands, in front of a small group of family and close friends.

The pair met on the set of the BBC1 reality TV show Any Dream Will Do, which Van Outen, 35, was hosting. Mead, 27, went on to the win the show to land a lead role in Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat in the West End.

A source, quoted in the Mail on Sunday, said: "Denise went away last weekend telling people she was simply going on holiday.

"It was literally just her parents, his parents and a couple of her best pals."
