VAN HALEN SET FOR TV COMEDY ROLE

Rocker EDDIE VAN HALEN is set to make a TV appearance, playing himself on an upcoming episode of U.S. sitcom TWO & A HALF MEN.
Show producer Chuck Lorre approached Van Halen as the guitarist celebrated his recent honeymoon, after learning he was a big fan of the comedy.
Lorre tells EW.com, "He was gracious enough to do a cameo, which is really cool."
