VAMPIRE WEEKEND ROCKER INVOLVED IN CAR COLLISION
VAMPIRE WEEKEND rocker CHRIS THOMPSON has suffered a head injury after he was hit by a car in London. The drummer with the U.S. band was involved in a collision with a vehicle outside the Hoxton hotel in the east of the city at around 12:30am following Thursday's (28Feb08) NME Awards. Thompson was treated by medical staff after an ambulance was called, and was taken to the Royal London Hospital following the incident.
