USHER'S MOTHER NOT AT WEDDING?

LATEST: USHER's mother was reportedly absent from the R+B star's wedding to his pregnant fiancee TAMEKA FOSTER last Friday (03Aug07). The 28-year-old - real name Usher Raymond - married 38-year-old stylist Foster at his lawyer's office in Atlanta, Georgia. A previous report in the Chicago Sun-Times had claimed Usher's mum Jonetta Patton was among the guests, but according to U.S. magazine People, Patton wasn't at the ceremony and spent the day at a nearby spa instead. The nuptials followed a last minute cancellation of a star-studded wedding at music mogul Antonio 'L.A.' Reid's Sagaponack, New York home the previous weekend (28Jul07). Foster blamed a brief hospitalisation for the postponement, but some reports claim it was because she doesn't get along with Patton. The couple started dating in November 2005, the same year Foster split from her ex-husband Ryan Glover - father of her three children. Usher and Foster's baby is due this winter (07/08).
