USHER'S EX REGRETS 'FOOLISH' LIPOSUCTION OP

USHER's estranged wife TAMEKA FOSTER will never forgive herself for her "foolish" decision to undergo cosmetic surgery - after the operation nearly claimed her life.
The R&B star's former partner, who is currently waiting for the pair's divorce to be finalised, suffered a cardiac arrest in February (09) as doctors anaesthetised her ahead of a planned liposuction procedure in Brazil.
Foster was placed in an induced coma for 24 hours and spent several days in an intensive care unit as doctors battled to save her.
The stylist, who has since made a full recovery, opted to undergo the surgery in a bid to lose her baby weight following the birth of the former couple's second son, Naviyd Ely Raymond, in December (08).
She tells Ebony magazine, "It was silly because my baby had only (been born) nine weeks or so (before), and I should've just waited. It was too soon after giving birth to be concerned about what I looked like physically.
"The foolish part for me was the fact that I wanted to take the shortcut. This is something I teach my children: Do not take the shortcut. It bothered me that I fell prey to it."
