USHER TIES THE KNOT

Music star Usher has married stylist Tameka Foster in a low-key ceremony held in Atlanta over the weekend.

According to People magazine, Usher and Ms Foster exchanged vows in the R 'n' B star's lawyer's office.

They had planned a large wedding in New York, but this was cancelled after Usher's new bride had a pregnancy scare.

Reports of the wedding first appeared in the Chicago Sun-Times, which said the wedding occurred late last Friday.

The couple are expecting their first child later this year and Ms Foster told People that she had been pushing herself "way too hard".

"But I am fine and the baby is fine," she added.

Usher's fifth studio album is also expected later this year following on from the 2004 LP Confessions.
