USHER CANCELS WEDDING AT 11TH HOUR

Singer USHER is said to have gone into hiding after cancelling his wedding plans to his fiance Tameka Foster just hours before they were due to tie the knot.

The couple were meant to wed in a plush ceremony in New York on Saturday but the R'n'B star appears to have called it off at the last minute.

Foster, a divorcee with three children, is pregnant with the couple's first child but reports have suggested the pair's relationship has come under strain in recent months.

USHER's publicist issued a statement confirming the wedding was cancelled, adding: "No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected."

Rumours have now begun circling in the US Press including reports that USHER's mother was against the wedding and others claiming the singer had simply changed his mind.

Further reports suggest that the pair rushed into the nuptials with one source telling People.com: "They only decided two weeks ago to have a wedding. They wanted to have it take place before the baby bump started showing."
