URBAN REFUSED ACCESS TO KIDMAN FILM SET BY RED-FACED GUARD

Security staff on the set of NICOLE KIDMAN's new film AUSTRALIA were left embarrassed this week (beg28May07) when they refused country superstar KEITH URBAN access to his wife - because they didn't recognise him. Urban was paying the actress a visit on the set in remote Bowen and was spotted pleading with a female security guard when she refused to let him pass a checkpoint without the proper pass. The Townsville Bulletin reports the guard started to grow tired of Urban's bid to get access to the set and she told the singer to "shove off and get a life." The publication reports the clueless guard eventually reported the incident to her boss on her radio, stating, "There's some bloke here named Keith Urban (who) wants to get on the set." Her boss then dashed to the scene and personally escorted Urban onto the set.
