Nicole Richie has accused partner Joel Madden of not helping with the housework on her Twitter page.

Nicole Richie has accused partner Joel Madden of not helping with the housework.

The 28-year-old star - who has two children with Joel, and is believed to have married him in a secret ceremony on Wednesday (14.10.09) - is annoyed at Joel's refusal to help her keep their home clean.

She said: "Poor Joel has lost his hearing. Been asking 4 help round the house for 3 hours. Wait, just said baseball and hes back! ITS A MIRACLE (sic)!"

Although he may not be keen to wash clothes or polish furniture, Joel was a huge help to Nicole when she was pregnant with the couple's one-month-old son Sparrow.

Nicole craved meaty treats during the pregnancy, and Joel ensured he was always on hand to fetch her food when she wanted it.

He said at the time: "Her cravings are usually about two or three in the morning and that's on me. I'm the one that has to run out - either go make her a sandwich or go to In-N-Out Burger or whatever she wants at any given time."
