Bride-to-be Carrie Underwood is spending a fortune to keep unwanted guests away from her wedding on Saturday (10Jul10) by booking out an entire hotel for her big day.
The country singer will exchange vows with ice hockey star Mike Fisher at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge in Greensboro, Georgia this weekend and the happy couple has hired every room at the venue to house their guests for the night, costing a whopping $268,000 (£178,670), according to local paper The Herald Journal.
The publication's editor, Carey Williams, says, "She has blocked off all 251 rooms at the hotel."
And Underwood will be arriving at the venue in style to prepare for her wedding day.
Williams adds, "Carrie will be flying in by helicopter on Friday."
The couple became engaged in December (09).
The Ritz-Carlton has a history of high-profile celebrity guests - both Presidents Bush have stayed there.
The resort was named among the World's 500 Best Hotels in Travel & Leisure Magazine in 2008, and regularly tops U.S. spa polls.
