UMA THURMAN ENGAGED TO SWISS FINANCIER

It looks like it's set to be third time lucky for Uma Thurman as her Swiss financier boyfriend has proposed to her.

Her representative confirmed to People magazine that Thurman and Arpad "Arki" Busson are engaged and she is said to be wearing an amazing engagement ring.

She was given an eight-plus carat centre stone surrounded by 20 smaller stones, according to People.

Well, with millions in the bank it was hardly ever going to be less than impressive.

It will be the third time up the aisle for Thurman, who starred in Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction, after her marriages to fellow actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke.

Busson is also no stranger to high profile relationships; he used to date supermodel Elle MacPherson, who he has two children with.

Thurman also has two children from her marriage to Hawke.

Thurman and Busson met at a private dinner in Milan last year and have since split their time between homes in London and New York.
