ULRIKA PLAYS IT COOL IN BB HOUSE

Ulrika Jonsson saw off some romantic feelers from US rapper Coolio with style in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The Shooting Stars celebrity has had a rocky start to the programme, admitting she has "major" panics because "the days are so long", but kept her composure in a conversation with Gangsta's Paradise rapper Coolio.

After he asked her who she was she replied: "You can call me whatever you like as long as it's a nice name."

This appeared encouraging to Coolio, who checked to see whether he was married.

When she said yes he asked to see her ring. She revealed a little too much information, explaining that "it's the longest time I've had it on… when you're looking after a baby...".

Coolio showed some surprise that Ulrika has a baby before munching on a garlic clove, prompting Ulrika to say: "No kissing…"

The rapper's reply was polite and stand-offish – quite right too.

"I don't kiss married women as you don't know where their mouth has been," he said.

At least he won the group's affection by cooking a meal and was described as "hysterical" by Shameless actress Tina Malone.

Verne Troyer, Mini-Me from the Austin Powers films, has been bonding with his fellow American by teaching him about cockney rhyming slang.

"I did a hairy monk on her boat race down her Gregory," he told Coolio. No idea what that means, of course.
