ULRICH PLANNING HEAVY ROCK MEGA-TOUR
METALLICA drummer LARS ULRICH is secretly plotting a heavy rock supertour, which will include his band, SLAYER, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX.
Slayer guitarist Kerry King has let it slip that negotiations have started during an interview with Britain's Metal Hammer magazine.
Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax toured with Alice In Chains on the Clash Of The Titans tour in 1991, while Metallica and Megadeth played a one-off show in Britain in 1993 - but the four acts have never performed on the same bill.
King says, "I don't know Lars that well and I haven't heard it from Lars, but apparently he's talking to somebody about it. Maybe us, Metallica, Megadeth (and), I think he even threw in Anthrax."
The guitarist insists MAChine Head would be a better fit than Anthrax, but he's game for the tour.
