U.K. NOT LAUGHING AT SILVERMAN'S 'OVERRATED' SHOW

Comedienne SARAH SILVERMAN's first ever U.K. gig failed to impress British comedy fans - she was booed after cutting her much-hyped set in half.
The U.S. funnywoman's sarcastic style was expected to win over the British audience at her London stand-up debut at the weekend (18/19Oct08).
But her set soon turned sour, after the warm-up act cancelled its slot and Silverman rushed through a short 40 minute performance.
She was booed and heckled for leaving revellers - who had paid $100 (GBP59) for tickets - unsatisfied.
Some taunted her with chants of, "I've seen longer clips on YouTube!" and "Sarah - you're overrated!".
