UGLY BETTY STAR TO HELP CLINTON CLEAR HER DEBTS

UGLY BETTY star AMERICA FERRERA is stepping in to help HILLARY CLINTON clear millions of dollars of debt she accumulated during her failed presidential bid.
The actress will host a conversation in "support of Hillary Clinton for President Debt Relief" in New York on 15 December (08).
Reports suggest Clinton - who lost the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama but has been named his future Secretary of State - still owes around $7.5 million (GBP5 million) to campaign supporters.
The New York senator is running out of time to raise the money, because she is prohibited from collecting funds when she takes up her new government job in January (08).
Ferrera announced her support for Clinton in January (08), and helped campaign for her in a number of states, before her defeat to Obama.
