UB40'S MANAGEMENT BANKRUPT

The management firm behind British reggae group UB40 has been declared bankrupt following the band's recent string of album flops. Reflex Muzic was forced to call in financial administrators to take over the business, which manages the band's tours and runs its studios in Birmingham, England.
UB40 have sold more than 70 million records since 1979 but has failed to score a top 10 hit in the last ten years.
A spokesperson for administrators Bond Partners says, "We are looking to what rights and records the company owns but I wouldn’t have thought it would affect the group. The band is not owned by the company but some members are directors of the company."
The firm's collapse comes weeks before ex-frontman Ali Campbell and former keyboardist Michael Virtue were due to take Reflex Muzic to a tribunal.
The stars split acrimoniously from their bandmates last year (08), citing business reasons. They were replaced by Campbell's brother Duncan and singer Maxi Priest.
