UB40 'DISGUSTED' BY CAMPBELL

UB40 have hit out at former frontman ALI CAMPBELL's plans to cover the band's hits on his forthcoming solo tour - branding the move "disgusting".
Campbell - who fronted the band for 30 years - sensationally quit the group in January (08) citing "management difficulties" for his departure.
And the singer has further angered his former bandmates by announcing he will be playing all of the band's most famous songs when he takes to the stage on his own.
Guitarist Robin Campbell has slammed his older brother for his treatment of the group.
He says, "Ali is calling his tour The Best of UB40 - 1980-2008. That disgusts me. He wanted us to fall apart and disappear so that our fans would go to his shows. When we said we were touring without him, I think he was shocked.
"When our fans stuck with us, I think that was the biggest kick in the balls for him."
And saxophonist Brian Travers is convinced that the singer has made the biggest mistake of his life - and he will be reduced to appearing on reality TV shows.
He adds, "(British reality show) Celebrity Big Brother beckons for Ali."
The Red, Red Wine hitmakers have replaced Campbell with his older brother Duncan.
