TYLER'S EX TO REPLACE WEILAND AS VELVET REVOLVER FRONTMAN?

Actress LIV TYLER's estranged husband ROYSTON LANGDON is bidding to become the new lead singer of rock supergroup VELVET REVOLVER.
The British singer, 36, is vying for a spot with the Grammy Award-winning group after its former lead singer Scott Weiland left to reunite with the Stone Temple Pilots in April (08).
According to U.S. magazine Entertainment Weekly, Langdon is among a handful of frontrunners in consideration to replace Weiland.
A source tells the magazine: "They all got along great. It was really a refreshing change for the band," adding Langdon is "definitely in the mix".
A spokesperson for Velvet Revolver has declined to confirm whether an offer was made to the singer.
Langdon and Tyler separated just last May (08) after five years of marriage. The former couple share one son, three-year-old Milo.
