TWILIGHT SEQUEL SOUNDTRACK TOPS AMERICA'S HALLOWEEN ALBUM CHART
The latest TWILIGHT soundtrack has bumped MICHAEL BUBLE's new album from the top of the U.S. charts.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon compilation, featuring tracks by Death Cab for Cutie, Thom Yorke and the Killers, sold 115,000 copies last week after an early release on 16 October (09) to become only the second soundtrack to top the Billboard charts this year.
Country star Tim MCGraw's new release, Southern Voice, debuts at two with Buble's Crazy Love slipping to three.
Rapper Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3 and Miley Cyrus' The Time Of Our Lives round out the new top five.
Meanwhile, Michael Jackson's This Is It soundtrack is on track to become the late pop star's sixth number one album on the Billboard 200 next week (04Nov09). Experts predict the album will sell 300,000 copies in its first week on release.
