TWANG ROCKER VOWS TO CUT DOWN ON BOOZE

THE TWANG frontman PHIL ETHERIDGE has vowed to cut back on his excessive drinking, after learning alcohol is ruining his vocal chords. The British rocker admits his love of partying is to blame for his current vocal issues. He says, "My throat is starting to tear up now, and I'm worried about this next tour. Without being too emotional, if I can't sing I'm lost. "We've been on tour since January (07), and we've been caning it (drinking heavily). I have got to calm it down. I haven't had a night off the drink since we've been signed."
