TV SOAP GETS REAL ABOUT TRANSGENDER PEOPLE
US TV soap ALL MY CHILDREN is to air an historic transgender focused episode later this week (09MAR07) after becoming the first daytime drama to introduce a sex-change character.
JEFFREY CARLSON, who plays ZOE on the show, joined the cast in January (07) and now producers are going one step further by honouring real-life transgender people as part of the programme.
Six transgender people will share their unscripted real-life experiences as part of a support group segment of the episode, which will feature author and activist JENNIFER FINLEY BOYLAN.
