TUPAC'S POETRY AND PROSE ARCHIVED AT ATLANTA UNIVERSITY

Slain rapper TUPAC SHAKUR's writings are to be archived by scholars in Atlanta, Georgia.
Officials at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, including the late rapper's mother, have teamed with experts at the Robert W. Woodruff Library of the Atlanta University Center to prepare Shakur's writings for "scholarly research".
The manuscripts will feature poetry and prose the late rap star wrote from the age of 19.
Scholars hope to complete the official Tupac Shakur Collection by the end of 2010 - and make the works available to those studying rap and African-American culture.
The rapper's mother Afeni Shakur-Davis says, "The Woodruff Library Archives has done a phenomenal job archiving my son's materials. I thank their staff for partnering with my family and the foundation in helping to make these important documents available in a professional manner that will benefit scholars for years to come."
