TUPAC'S LOST FILM SCRIPT TO BE MADE INTO A MOVIE

A screenplay tragic rapper TUPAC SHAKUR wrote during a 1995 prison stint is to hit cinemas in 2010.
The prolific star penned Live 2 Tell as a starring vehicle for himself, according to Vibe magazine, but he never lived to see out his dream.
The film, which chronicles an ex-drug dealer's battle to beat his problems, was discovered by the late rapper's mother Afeni Shakur and sold to Insomnia Productions.
Producers will start casting the film next month (Apr09).
Meanwhile, Afeni Shakur is currently locked in a battle with movie executives at film company Morgan Creek after allegedly backing out of a deal to sell the rights to the late rapper's life story for a film adaptation.
Amaru Entertainment, which is run by Shakur - the executor of Tupac's estate, is being sued by the film production company bosses, who allege a written contract was in place for the rights to the California Love hitmaker's life story.
They claim Afeni backed out of negotiations, which began in November (08), and is now refusing "to honour and perform a contract of a production of the film based on the life of Tupac Shakur".
The company is seeking unspecified damages.
Lawyers for Amaru Entertainment have denied existence of any such deal with Morgan Creek - and claim the production company only filed the writ to sabotage talks with other movie studios about adapting Shakur's life story.
