Scottish singer KT TUNSTALL was left red-faced in a STELLA MCCARTNEY boutique after misunderstanding the shop assistant's fashion talk. The Suddenly I See hitmaker purchased several items from the fashion designer's London store, but was embarrassed after confusing Scottish slang with retail language. She says, "I went to the Stella MCCartney shop and bought a few things and I didn't realise that they refer to the clothes as 'pieces'. "In Scotland piece means sandwich. When I was leaving the assistant said, 'Don't forget your pieces.' I looked round for the plate and thought 'You get free sandwiches here?' How fantastic."
