TUCKER: 'PRYOR APPROVAL MEANT I'D MADE IT'
CHRIS TUCKER knew he'd made it as a comedian when legendary funnyman RICHARD PRYOR praised his stand-up routine.
The Rush Hour actor was left dazzled by the compliment from his hero, who was suffering from multiple-sclerosis at the time.
Recalling the moment, Tucker tells Playboy magazine, "I'll never forget it. It was when Richard Pryor came to one of my shows and told me I was funny.
"This was early on, and he was in a wheelchair, but he was still communicating well.
"It just blew me away."
