TRIO OF STARS TO TEAM WITH RICE FOR NUTCRACKER MUSICAL
JOHN TURTURRO, NATHAN LANE and DAKOTA FANNING's sister ELLE are set to turn beloved ballet THE NUTCRACKER into a new movie musical.
British songwriter Tim Rice will pen eight tunes inspired by the ballet for the project, which will be based on the fantasy story that sparked Tchaikovsky's musical masterpiece.
In the film, which will start shooting in Budapest in July (07), Lane and Fanning will play humans while Turturro will play an evil mouse king.
