TRENT REZNOR SLATES PRINCE
NINE INCH NAILS (NIN) man TRENT REZNOR has hit out at fellow stars PRINCE and RIVERS CUOMO on his band's website.
The man behind hits including CLOSER, criticised the recent work of both the diminutive pop star and the WEEZER frontman in what can only be termed something of a rant.
Responding to questions about NIN's future and his song writing efforts, Reznor claimed that he is not like Prince or Cuomo who "brag" about having "hundreds of great songs".
He then went on to lay into the recent albums issued by Prince and Weezer.
"I would say, Prince, if you have a hundred great songs or a thousand, how about picking a few and putting them on your record that you've put out because your last several have sucked," he said.
Reznor then levelled that same charges at Cuomo, although he did add that his comments where meant "constructively".
Finally, he stated: "I might be happy and engaged, but I can still be a prick."
The interview, during which questions were asked by fans, was not the first time that Reznor has used the internet to hit out at a fellow musician.
He recently, used social networking website Twitter to offer his not-very-flattering opinions on the latest album by former SOUNDGARDEN singer CHRIS CORNELL.
Reznor's post read: "You know that feeling you get when somebody embarrasses themselves so badly YOU feel uncomfortable?"
