THE WHO star PETE TOWNSHEND is putting his do-it-yourself (DIY) skills to good use - he is building a recording studio at his home without "any outside help".
The rocker is determined to make sure the studio at his Surrey, England property is as personal as possible and admits he isn't afraid of hard work.
He says, "I'm building a tiny new studio control room at the moment and I'm doing all the work myself. I am not using any outside help at all, so it will feel very 'pure Pete' when it's finished."
