TOM CRUISE CONFIRMED FOR JONATHAN ROSS RETURN
Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise has been announced as the final guest for Jonathan Ross' comeback following his three-month suspension.
The actor's new film Valkyrie is released on Friday January 23rd and he will appear on Ross' couch as the controversial presenter returns to television on that day.
Actor Stephen Fry and comic Lee Evans will also be interviewed by Ross when his chatshow comes back to British screens, it was announced last week.
Scottish indie band Franz Ferdinand have also been confirmed as the show's musical guests, ahead of the release of their new single Ulysses.
It will be Cruise's first appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, though he has previously been interviewed by the presenter for his regular film programme.
Ross was suspended from the BBC for three months over his involvement in the row concerning obscene voicemails left for Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs.
While Russell Brand resigned over the incident - in which he and Ross joked about Brand having slept with Sachs' granddaughter - Ross received a suspension and will return to BBC1 on January 23rd.
He will resume his Radio 2 show on the following day and host a new edition of Film 2009 on January 26th.
