I'M A CELEBRITY.. GET ME OUT OF HERE! contestant TIMMY MALLET has been voicing his support for DAVID VAN DAY.

The former TV presenter was eliminated from the camp last night (November 30th) and told presenters Ant and Dec that he had bonded with the former DOLLAR singer – despite his tendency to rub many of his fellow campers up the wrong way.

"I'm very fond of David," he said. "I'm delighted we went into camp together because that relationship was a real bed rock for me."

Timmy left the jungle after losing out to Brian Paddick in the Last Chance Saloon Trial face-off in which they had to eat and drink assorted jungle delicacies.

However, the trial was not without controversy after Brian accused Timmy of grabbing his arm to stop him from swallowing before he did.

"Good, I hope it hurt!" Timmy joked to Ant and Dec "I didn't even know it was his arm. I thought it was the bench or something."

Meanwhile, ESTHER RANTZEN has become the latest contestant to be voted out of the camp.
