The film featuring pop superstar JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE's acting debut is heading straight to video after receiving less-than-stellar reviews. EDISON FORCE, which Timberlake filmed with Oscar-winning actors MORGAN FREEMAN and KEVIN SPACEY in 2004, will go direct-to-video, bypassing a theatrical release. The film was screened at numerous film festivals last year (05), but has received bad reviews. The Hollywood Reporter said, "The movie is a parade of cliches. A star-studded dud of a B-picture." The CRY ME A RIVER singer has continued to pursue his acting career and is scheduled to appear in four upcoming feature films, including SHREK THE THIRD and crime drama ALPHA DOG.
