TIM ALLEN: 'MY MOTHER TOLD ME I'D FAIL'

Comedy actor TIM ALLEN had to defy his mother to make it in Hollywood - because she wanted him to choose a more modest career.
The Wild Hogs star's mum was convinced he would never achieve his acting ambitions - and urged him to set his sights lower.
He reveals, "My mom used to say, 'You aim a little too high. You expect a little too much out of life. How about a civil service job? The post office. There's nothing wrong with that. You get a health plan.'"
