TILBROOK CONSIDERS MOBILE HOME TREK AGAIN

Former SQUEEZE star GLENN TILBROOK is contemplating touring America in a mobile home again, despite the trials and tribulations of his first attempt. The LABELLED WITH LOVE singer thought it would be a hoot to travel from show to show in an RV - and invited a documentary camera crew to join him and his manager/girlfriend on the road. The film, GLENN TILBROOK: ONE FOR THE ROAD, features the rocker struggling to get used to travelling across America in a mobile home that frequently breaks down, but he insists it was a great way to get around - and he's enthusiastic about doing it all over again. He says, "I had a lot of problems with it but it didn't dull my enthusiasm for the whole idea. It was a real headache sometimes just sorting out things. "One time the engine just completely broke down. And when you're not registered with the AAA (Automobile Association Of America), you have to jump through about 800 hoops but we got there in the end from help from a lot of good friends. "The reality is touring in an RV was almost exactly as I thought it would be, in that you're in your little home and you get to see all the places you want to go to and you see the country the way I've never seen it before. "It was good to determine my own future without having to be looked after. I found it the most satisfying time of my entire career."
