THUNDERSTORMS PROMPT DEF LEPPARD SHOW CANCELLATION

DEF LEPPARD, STYX and FOREIGNER's Tuesday night (21Aug07) show in Raleigh, North Carolina was called off after storms sent eight people to hospital. Severe thunderstorms produced high winds and sent debris flying, injuring eight Walnut Creek locals and causing significant damage. The Walnut Creek Amphitheatre, where the show was scheduled to take place, was one of the buildings damaged by the storm. In a statement, the promoters say, "The show was unable to take place due to severe weather... We are making every effort to reschedule the date."
