THE ZUTONS CANCEL SHOW AFTER DRUMMER FALLS ILL

British rockers THE ZUTONS were forced to cancel their concert in Brighton, England last night (21NOV06) after drummer SEAN PAYNE fell ill. The VALERIE group were due to play the Brighton Dome, but Payne was diagnosed with a viral infection and doctors have ordered him to rest for a few days. A band statement reads: "It is hoped that Sean will be well enough to continue the band's tour in Manchester on Thursday. "The Brighton date will be re-scheduled as soon as possible and tickets remain valid. The band apologises for any inconvenience or upset caused. "All efforts have been made to continue with the show, but unfortunately a replacement drummer could not be found at such short notice."
