THE WOMEN HEAD OFF FOR A WORKING HOLIDAY

MEG RYAN, ANNETTE BENING and the stars of the upcoming remake of movie classic THE WOMEN have set up camp on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts so they can get to know each other. Reports suggest the actresses insisted on a working holiday with co-stars Eva Mendes and Debra Messing before cameras rolled. And internet gossip Marc Malkin claims another co-star, Bette Midler, will be joining them later this month (Jul07). A source tells Malkin that director Diane English has joined the ladies, adding, "They have hit the island for some girl time, for some rest and relaxation, to get to know each other and to read through their scenes." Filming is scheduled to start this autumn (07).
