THE WANNADIES SPLIT

Swedish rockers THE WANNADIES have finally called it quits, seven years after the release of their last album.
The group embarked on a lengthy hiatus after Before and After hit stores in 2002, only releasing one track - 2007's Kill the Musikk - since.
And now they've decided to split for good, with frontman Par Wiksten embarking on a solo career.
According to Planet Sound, a Best Of album is being prepared for release.
