THE VIEW STAR COLLAPSES ON STAGE
Scottish rockers THE VIEW were forced to scrap a gig in Austria - after frontman KYLE FALCONER collapsed on stage, reportedly due to excessive drinking.
The band played three songs of their headline slot at the Snowbombing festival on Monday (30Mar09) before a "disorientated" Falconer was taken ill - bringing a premature end to the show.
A source tells U.K. newspaper The Sun, "Kyle looked disorientated and could hardly sing. He said he’d lost his voice then walked off stage. Everyone booed and shortly after he came back and tried to play the guitar. But he struggled to even hold it. Kyle then collapsed and the rest of the band went off. It was a shambolic gig."
Last year (08) the group had to cancel a concert in Nottingham, England after Falconer was deemed too drunk to perform.
